Enora Lalet works combine people and food. A visual artist who was born in Bordeaux, she has been working in this way for a few years now. The reference is to pop art and there is nothing more ‘pop art’ than decadent food.

The bright colours reaffirm the sweetness and over the top sensuousness of the food and the textures in the images make them seem quite tactile.

Her work goes beyond photography and also includes living installations. An interesting theme in her work is the way that she combines several different disciplines with the common thread of food running through them that ties them all together.

Body painting and unusual angles are in her work but there is also a sense of the anthropological with food being intertwined with the modern human life.
