There isn’t beauty without pain.
This old saying is well explained in watercolors of Michelle Avery Konczyk; she gives us the inner mean of our beautiful (in surface) reality, revealing the ugly and the bad.

Melting boundaries, she melts extra body parts with other bodies or nature itself, creating a new brave world and a new kind of humans that can’t hide the dark in his soul.
She kind of reminds us of a surgeon, a crazy surgeon that creates her filthy Frankestein mixing all her favourite body parts in one body, doing a surgery operation to create a new machine, a new born that can reveal life to the zombie society where we live.

The result is a moody and gloomy atmosphere in her beautiful and delicate watercolors, fragile in their power of representing the ugliness and changing of the world.
